It was perfect sunny weather on June 1 for a relaxing park pop-up. The children loved Mrs H and the Sing-Along Band. Families sat on the grass enjoying the day. Owls and other big birds from Falconry UK were glorious. There was poetry and reading for children by Culpeper Poets and local libraries.
Children moved to the beat of Zumbini. The Islington Swifts Project advised local residents how to encourage the intrepid birds. The Adventure Playground was buzzing with its own special brand of fun. Corsican Brass serenaded visitors enjoying home-made cakes in the cafe.
Next Saturday it’s bubbles, bouncy castles and Bollywood!
