Sinbad the Somerset Ferret

Not an ordinary Saturday morning sight

It was worth a double take.  Heads turned on Saturday morning in the park near Barnsbury Road when Sinbad, the ferret, strolled down the bark path on a lead.  Sinbad, who was born in Somerset, is the pet of Jessica and Carl, two park users who live near Chapel Market.  Sinbad could be calmly held and looked quite smart on his lead which bisected his long, thin body.  Sinbad was interested in magpies swooping on the grass but the well behaved ferret had a look and then passed them by.  The photo above is not Sinbad, but another ferret for illustration for this sight is hard to imagine.  We hope to get a photo of Sinbad, whose owners say will be regularly walked in the park.
